I used Mother's polish- with elbow grease- great results. I have heard others use Mothers with their polishing ball with better results

Let me suggest something to clean your wheels. I got it at the EASTWOOD company. It is called ROUGE.. It comes in a tube that looks like a candle. It feels like a candle too. You take a small buffer wheel on a drill and rub it againts this stuff until it starts to melt onto the buffing wheel, then you polish your wheel with it. It is almost like a compound, becasue it removed some scratches. Then you do it again with the 2nd type of ROUGE, and your wheels look like mirror finish. I don't beleive in this kind of stuff, but for $12 I tried it, and it really works. My wheel were at the point where MOTHERS and all the other polishes just didn't do a thing to them..Until I was turned onto this stuff by an older hot rodder I know. Try it..I know you will not be let down.

Belongs in the General section. Not a tech question.

That was me. The polish and sealer are from Master Formula. As I said in the previous thread, I tried Mothers, MacGuires, and others. None of those worked nearly as well as Master Formula.

Default extreem metal polish

I use extreem metal polish and I believe its the best stuff out there.Just beware if you like the aluminum look. If you use too much elbow grease it will make it look like chrome!!Also if you decide to use it make sure you use the sealer by the same maker, the shine will last longer.

I second this product. Picked up some at a car show some time ago. Best overall polish I have found. Polish everything with it. Even 3' tall brass candlesticks. Turnout the shiniest thing you can imagine.
