Has anyone ever dealt with Duntov Motor in Dallas area ? I am considering buying some parts from them and would like to know how they are to deal with. Maybe some one in the Dallas area has done business with them and could help me out here.

Melting Slicks
I got 4 disks, a rear spring and a rebuilt steering box from them. Good parts, but the steering gear is adjusted a bit tight. I would go new, not rebuilt for a st gear. Free shipping, can't beat that for those parts. I've found them to be pretty good, I think they are under new managment.

Burning Brakes
I bought new rear spindles, bearings, etc. form them and rented the install tools. They sent me half the tools and one spindle was junk (machined out of round). They charged my credit card immediately and sent parts a couple of months later. I spent half on phone calls that I got back from the deposit on the tools and that took months of listening to all kinds of BS excuses. I will never make that mistake again. Too many good vendors here to deal with that for a few bucks.

I have bought multiple parts from them. They offer good prices, fast (free) shipping, and great support/advice. I have probably placed 5-6 orders with them over the past 2 years.
The other day, I called to order a part and spoke with the owner. They know a lot about corvettes, and the owner actually talked me out of a part that didn't make sense for my application. Additionally, once I ordered a part incorrectly and they shipped me out the right part the next day after I realized this - before I even got the old one back to them. Nothing but praise from me for this outfit

read my post regarding fastcorvette.com (before they were Duntov). Had tech questions on suspension parts/purchase - never rec'd replies. Also still have not received refund for cores that were shipped back to them -- been over a year.

Check out: http://www.duntovmotors.com/default.htm and why they can use the "Duntov" name Website loks pretty impressive other then the one mistake on the home page about supply and service "1663-1982" Corvettes. Just a typo I know but still needs to be corrected.
