Very nice work, keep us posted.

One quick question...why didn't I see a single beer in any of those shots? That's a lot of work to do without the occasional beverage break.

Bet that means you get done a lot faster too then huh?

I sometimes judge a project's time line based on how many beers I will want to have with the job.

I learned to work with fiberglass on my own actually.I restore cars for a living ,and when i built my first vette I loved it. Fiberglass work was my calling (which is really odd because most body guys hate fiberglass work).I actually enjoy it. I like taking vettes and while building them actually fix some of the inherent problems such as poor gaps and wavy bodies that most have . A lot of people put vettes down saying their build quality is poor. That maybe partially true but I can affect that with my work. I guess I take pride in the fact that people always comment on how nice and straight my cars are.It is just who I am.

At least you saw beyond the mess in the first picture. Which I would have walked away from. I like a challenge but its this age thing setting in and slowing me down. Great outstanding work. Keep em comming

Funny you say that .That car sat at a used car dealer lot on a main drag for over two years.not even the matching number 427 4 spd and 370 rear with 54k original miles convinced anyone to buy it. Exept me of course. Sometimes knowing you can fix something can be a scary thing!!!HA ha ha

That is very interesting... I hope my vette turns out just like your did! Did you pretty much start out at trail and error? Reason why I ask is I would love to learn how to work with fiberglass...
