Default Pics of Steelshields with JetHot on pipes

I'm still looking for pics of anybody that has put Dean's Steelshields on top of JetHot coated side pipes. I plan to do it but would like to see it on somebody else's first.

Default stingray script shields on a C3

I also want to see some C3s that have the jet hot sterling pipes with the stingray script shields.I like to look of the raw pipes but i know I will have to get some shields soon., and when i do they will definetly be steel shields.

You Dirty Rats! Now I must have side-pipes...Where is the best source? I think Hooker Headers, and pipes are the way to go...Where do I find a deal? These are to go on the '70. www.californiavette.com

For performance and looks Hookers are my choice. Check Summit or Jethot direct.

Yes it is.I was trying to get a visual to see what it would look like when I get my shields.Somehow I have to figure out a way to add a second piece of sheething painted the color of my car behind the shield so the stingray cutout can stand out! Any ideas?

Red,

Just a thought, but why not call Jet Hot and ask them for an estimate to coat the shields. They offer color coatings. Maybe you could have the shields coated red. When installed on the pipes, the words would come through as silver. Reverse of what you did on you picture but again, just a thought.

I think that would be too much. The clamps that hold the shields on can be used to hold a strip of anodized aluminum of something like a venetian blind slat that would only show threw the lettering would work. The best part is you could either change the back ground color or just remove it later.

and I got my pipes and glasspacks from VIP in Bangor for about $400 total.

get a piece of sheetmetal n cut what u need n then bend it to fit n then paint red n attach w/ 4 or 6 dabs of silicone sealer n let cure for 24hrs n yer good to go. i've used silicone sealer to adhere many things on the vette n have never lost anything.

Do you think the paint can withstand the heat from the pipes?

Here is picture of a custom set of shields that I made for a customer and he put a red back ground strip behind the lettering.
