My Door Panel Has A Vinyl Or Leather Strip That Goes Along The Underside Of The Panel; Just Below The Carpet Strip On Door. Is This Correct Or A Repair? Don't Want To Take Off If This Is Correct. Any Help Would Be Aprreciated. Thanks

on the bottom of the door panel underneath the carpeted area there should be more leather the wraps around and is stapled to the backside of the panel itself. Hope this helps.

A vynal strip is originally how the carpet is held to the lower portion of the door. Can't tell you if the one you have IS original though...
