Choke light stays on all the time
Alright, my 81 has a 600 Holley with an electric choke. This was on the car when I bought it. The choke worked up until about a month ago, then it quit. It has no power to it, and the CHOKE light stays lit up on the dash constantly. Any ideas?

Thanks, that will help. I got to thinking about it last night, and my troubles began when the regulator stuck in my alternator, causing it to charge 20+ volts. Might have taken the fuse/relay out. There is a relay on the firewall, drivers side. I am thinking that might be it.

was it on prior to the distributor change out?

the green choke wire comes across the engine from the harness near the alternator. I'd just check for volts there, back to the fuse.
my guess is the light is telling you the choke circuit is in safe mode (per 6 footers diagram)
