Last Thursday I ordered brakes. Spoke to Alan and Edward. Very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Hope to get my parts soon.

Well I can see beyond that. Looks like a good place. I was hoping it would be. Their web site is impressive and prices good.

Glenn

Edit:
Now that I look at it, the name similarity is odd.

Duntov Motors carried some baggage with them due to the association with fastcorvette.com, but from everything I've seen over the last year or so they have been an honest operation. You roll the dice whenever you deal with anyone over the Internet. VB&P has been an outstanding vendor for years and recently there have been a number of posts complaining about them. Things change, sometimes for the better and sometimes not.

I bought from them when they were fastcorvette.com. I certainly won't make THAT mistake again...

I've also heard that it was just a name change and that the "management team" is still the same. I could be wrong but am not prepared to spend my money finding out...

I got everything I needed to rebuild my rear trailing arms from them including rental of the bearing tools. I sat on those parts for close to 8 months before I actually got around to doing the job. You know--they didn't care. They still honored the rental AND gave me money for core parts, etc. There were some hiccups though as they had their computers crash. But whomever I dealt with was reasonable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Some people just don't seem to have enough patience with vendors sometimes.

Remember, poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on their part!

In my dealings they have been fair and honest. No complaints.

I bought my third set of spindles from them......after I went through two sets from Last Detail which broke like tooth pics. I called Duntaov a few times and spoke to Allen and he was very helpful. When I decided to try their spindles I bought two and a bearing kit, the price was better than anyone else and I got them deliverd fast.

No complaints and I would buy from them again.

I needed some suspension parts and theirs seemed a good price and quality products from my investigations. Spoke with Edward and and he organised shipping to Australia in a container at no cost. Great service in my book. Looking forward to getting the parts and will let you know when they arrive.
My 2c worth is that there will always be horror stories with suppliers but you often get a one sided point of view -give them a call and go with your instinct. That' what I did.

Yeah, my bad. Resorting to all sorts of nasty threats because my brake calipers hadn't arrived after 4 months was a little impatient of me. Then abusing them because when my calipers DID arrive, the order was incomplete was just pure selfishness on my behalf

Buying from fastcorvettes.com in the first place certainly was bad planning on my part...

For $hit's sake, one of the excuses why my calipers weren't ready was because they had (yes, they said HAD) to go to somewhere for a weekend (Sebring I think it was) to race their Corvette! What a bunch of *******.

Save yourself the grief and just go outside and set fire to some money...

Oh, if anyone doubts my experience, I kept every email I sent them and every one they sent back, when they could be bothered to reply of course. They really did write the book A Thousand And One Pathetic Excuses To Fob The Customer Off

i bought from them and had a horrible experience BUT..they changed managment awhile back and the new owner seems to be a great guy. he even refunded money that was owed to me from the old owner. so i would recomend them.
