Default T Top mounting switches on a 1982

Need to replace both T-Top mounting
switches. How do you access the switches?

The switches are part of the factory theft alarm and are on the backside of each receiver. The receivers come out the front, but there is a tapping plate behind them which you can only access from the interior with the trim panel removed.

Are you sure the switches are bad?

Easy Mike,
Thanks for your input.
I was not aware that these even existed. I was checking out the locking pins
on the t-tops when I checked the receivers and saw that the plastic piece that
the pins locks into was pushed back. I was able to pull them into the receiver
and saw that the front on the plastic piece was broken allowing the switch to
push itself out the back of the receiver. After posting my question I removed the inside
header and was able to remove the lock mount, found the wiring disconnected.
Another question, which connector do you hook the ground to or does it matter?
