Default Modern rolling chassis

Does anyone make/sell a custom rolling C3 chassis with modern geometry and suspension? A lot of owners perform a frame off restoration, but wouldn't it be nice to drop the C3 body onto a complete frame/chassis utilizing the same body mount locations but includes today's suspension technology? Has anyone even attempted something like that? It would be nice to have the C3's body lines combined with modern underpinings...

Here's one that uses C4 components: http://www.newmancarcreations.com/63...tte/index.html

Don't know much about them but remember reading an article a few years back about a C3 that was built with one.

You can also start with a C3 frame and put VB and P transverse suspension in front and Guldstrand 5 link in back w/fiberglass rear spring, carbon fiber drive/half shafts, and V B and P brakes. Add 17 nor 18" wheels and you're ready to go. /:\

If you want to see a modern chassis and powertrain look at 78SAVette's C3. They don't get much better than that. His car was on the cover of Corvette Enthusiast a couple of months ago.

take a look at www.streetshopinc.com

Complete drop-on, no fiberglass cutting required. I've seen several of their cars--and drove an LS-6 powered '67--and I've got to tell you, it's impressive. All kinds of options, including narrowed frame rails in the rear so you can fit reeeeaaaal wide tires out back. C4 suspension, C5, whatever you want.
