AC Delco battery for old Vette discontinued ?
So, I went to local Pep Boy which is AC delco dealer this morning and asked for AC delco battery for '71. He checked on the computer and came back to say it was discontinued.
I have a printout from AC delco website which shows two batteries, one is discontinued, but another one is not marked as discontinued.
Are they really discontinued ?

Not sure myself, but i was at a GM dealership today and asked about a delco battery for my '70 and they quoted me and had one on the shelf. I don't remember the number he gave me. you might try calling Gm parts.

...I ran into this this past summer. I believe the "original size", which I think was a Group 74 has been discontinued. I think the slightly smaller Group 78(?)is the one you would replace the Group 74 with.
