Default Fit of 15x8 wheels on 1968
Will 15x8 rally wheels fit on a 1968? If so, what is the required backspacing? What would be the largest size tire with that wheel size and year?

rode with them for 20 yrs before changing to originals......no problem

Why not 16x8? I have Wheel Vintiques Chrome Ralleys and 255/50 Comp TA's. Just about perfect on a black 68 BB Roadster. Great ride.

Shouold be fine, fender/hub clearance was identical from '68 to'69.
