Thanks for the inspiration.
I love all the pics
Now dont go and start welding all of those "lawn ornaments" and selling them out in front of your house.

now that you already have the frame galvanized i suppose that means you're not making a removable crossmember?

No Im not. I considered it but decided not to. id rather keep it stock. Im putting the side exhaust back on the car so that will give me some room to remove the tranny later if needed. Hey wait a minute are you telling me these cars still need work after their done... I was hoping I would never have to work on it again. Just Dreaming.

Thanks, I have lots more that are not posted. They are also much higher quality. If there are any pics of something you need, please ask. I probably have it in at least one of the 5410 pictures of this resto.

Great garage setup Ned. Way too organized! Looks like you're really digging in now and the progress looks really nice.

Well after 6 days of detailing and prep work the frame is finally ready for primer. On its way to the back garage for spraying. Floor heat in this section which should warm up everything nicely before painting.

Wasnt sure if it was going to go through this door.

Just squeeked through, not much room to spare. The (rotisiere) was a handy little item.

Im going to spray into every hole I can find with an undercoating gun and 360 degree tip to coat all the insides. It will probably be dripping out for a day or so but I figure Ill clean it up before spraying the outside.

The long drawers are all tools. The short drawers are for bolts, washers, nuts, screws, fasteners of any kind imagineable. I like to keep them stocked as much as possible. Seems I always need some odd bolt for something im working on. I got all the cabinets for free ( And if its for free, its for me) from bank remodeling projects. They were going to throw them all away I just didnt have it in my heart to throw them in the dumpster. im usually hauling something home everyday. My son just shakes his head and asks "what are you building now".

Thank You. The progress might be a little slow for a while, I have a ton of parts to clean and blast to get ready for primer and paint. But Ill put some pictures up as I go.

So True.. I didnt even want to start a restoration until I had things set up. I sure give the guys alot of credit that are doing a complete restoration in a one car garage. That is more of a challenge than Ill ever have with this one.

Too cold outside to use the big sand blaster outside (12 degrees) so I had to do these items in the bead blasting cabinet. I envy you guys in CA and FL.

Your shop is righteous. Great work with the camera; you have an eye for digital presentations. Obviously, a talented guy in many ways.

Looking forward to the updates; keep 'em coming!
