New chrome parts with pics!
As I'm preparing for paint I decided some parts were just plain ugly. As I looked through the vendor websites I was appalled at how much they charged for some chrome pieces.
I found a local chrome shop and this is what I finished for under 425.00.
Hood latch releases.
Hood hinges & latches
Hood support.
Door strikers.
Side lamp/turn signal bezels.
Spare tire support with brackets.
I also cleaned up the head light buckets and prepped them for the painter.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm excited to get it painted and put back together. What will we do when our cars are finished? Probably have to find another car to work on

I suppose they could be disassembled but after chroming re-riveting may be difficult due to thickness changes and fitment may be a problem.
I'm very pleased with what I got for the money, especially when compared to this.

That stuff looks pretty good! Lets see it all when its installed.. I cant believe the prices at that link, thats pretty extreme. I bought a lot of chrome for my 1300 honda vtx, very good quality but not those insane prices, not even close..
