Default Lambo Kit

i've been researching the lambo door kits and they are on ebay for about 700 dollars and look awesome. just wondering if anyone on here has them and your opinion. not sure if it's just me or what but they look like they are hard to clear and get into the car????

Is there any possible way you could make rubber bumper car owners look any more trailer park?

Couldn't you do that to a ricer someplace instead?

I don't think you could find ONE person on this site that would do that to their C3.

dont let other peoples negativity influence you. if you like lambo doors go for it, its your car, make it the way you want. some people cant mind their own business. and its a symptom of a small mind. the spirit of this hobby is helping each other out. not belittling others. put your lambo doors on. its still a thousand times better than having a mustang.

thanks i appreciate an honest good answer, i dont mind opinions but damn i didnt think ide get beheaded either. could have said i dont think anyone at the show will like them or respect them as a classic original, and end of story i would have thought about that,

Here is a good rule of thumb... Don't ask for others opinions if you don't really want it.

He asked, we gave. Now if these opinions were unsolicited then I would whole heartedly agree with you.

Don't let these purists discourage you from making your car your own. I personally like the Lambo doors but would need to see one in person and see how easy it is to get in and out of before I could pull the trigger on a set. If you are looking for a great setup for the vette then I would check out these guys. There setup looks like it is very well engineered and easy to install. If you do decide to install a set take lots of pics I would love to see it.

I am in no way affiliated with the aboce site just someplace I came accross when researching kits.

i asked for your opinion on a lambo door kit! not bumper cars and trailer parks, so in case you cant read when someone asks for an opinion from people who have the product or have experience with it then it means just that, not to give stupid insight, you asked i gave

Spokane is a long way from central PA, but a company selling the kits (and I think would install them for you) was at Carlisle last year. I got a real close look at the finished product they had there. I didn't get in and out of the car, but I got a good look. In some ways, it looked like it would be easier to get in, and it would stop the wife and kids from leaning on the open door.

Ah, so one has a small mind if he criticizes scissor doors, but he is enlightened if he denigrates the evil Mustang. I'm going to need a list of these rules.

I did see a '76 last summer with vertical doors made by Sterling Accessories. They appeared to be well engineered and manufactured. The doors closed smoothly.

The ones in the pics from Calisle (red C3) look like I would have a real hard time swinging my big gut into the car. The other ones I saw went up much higher and were more out of the way. Again, engineering is everything.
