Cost to flare?
im toying with the idea of flaring my 79. i suppose price will be my main deciding factor. now i know that after flares you need wider wheels and tires which will add to the overall cost. but im just curious what the average cost is to install flares?..im gonna have the whole car painted. so i just mean on top of a paint job.

Ball park guess? A ball park is pretty big.
$1,000 for the flares and $1,000 labor.

i guess ballpark wasnt the best choice of terms lol.
but that doesn't sound TOOO bad. if i can get sneak in under 10 grand for flares, paint, wheels and tires..then i may swing this.

just buy some of those rubber fender ext. and use double sticking tape !
really your basically committing to a full paint job, so if your car needs new paint,
now is the time to add them. If my paint was still good I would pass on the flares.

hmm...i have some i took off my old F-250.
but im in need of a new paint job anyway..cars 2 different shades of white. i think it had a fender bender at some point in its life.
may not be pretty under the paint.

then another $1,000 + labor for offset trailing arms so you can squeeze 17-18" rims, then another $2,000 for new rims & tires and on and on.
