Help 1969 L89 Washington DC History Curtis Chevrolet
Need help in finding original owner and history of my 1969 L89 Corvette.
Original owner worked for IBM in Menassas Virginia in 1969.
He sold the Corvette to IBM co-worker Scott A.
Scott cannot remember his name (Need some help here from IBM retirees)
Built on March 3, 1969 so probably on the street or strip in April 1969.
Possibly used in autocross or on the dragstrip close to the DC area.
Cortez Silver Convertible with Red Vinyl interior.
The color combination may jar some memories.
Ordered new at Curtis Chevrolet in Washington DC.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Manassas, Virginia. North west of Richmond. Two important battles of the Civil War were fought there, 1st and 2nd Bull Run. Beautiful countryside. Drive over an take look.

Good luck. I have a limited listing of 69 L-89s that have been posted for sale in various places in the past 20 years. You could pm me your vin or I could send you the list of vins that I have. You could maybe track it back that way.
