C3 Electric Headlight Actuator
Came across this vendor at BG. ECPB C3 Corvette Electric Headlight & Wiper Door Actuators. I hadn't heard of them before; maybe some here have. I know others have discussed using this method. Seemed to work pretty slick.

I don't understand the reason going electric unless I have a motor that doesn't creat enoguh vacuum, but the factory vacuum system works fine as long as all components are workong properly. I think if I was going to blow that kind of money on electric headlamps I would blow the money in a different area.
I saw them also at BG, and no not impressed

I talked to the guy at Bloomington Gold this week. It seems like a good idea but I would never pay $1,349 to open my wiper door (if I had one). $999 for the headlights, I might do.

Too much money to replace something that already works fine!

after doing a little googling i think i found the actuator that they are using. it looks like you can build the same setup for $300 or less.

this one also looks like it would work.

$999 Outrageous.
If I needed an electric conversion, I would do the McSpeed Killer Lights:
$99.95 for the conversion brackets http://mcspeed.homestead.com/our_products.html
$578.88 for all new GM parts from GM parts direct. Can be done cheaper if you buy on eBay or junkyards. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...rtnumber=pkit1
So, I save over $300 and get a system that uses GM parts in case I have any problems. No brainer if you ask me.
