What is the best HEI set up for 69 427 vett, would like to find one that goes a good job. And what do you think of a ignition shielding and if so where is the best place to get one.

Why do you want HEI? Mallory or Msd make a good one if it is a must for you. Wilcox for the shielding all the way

A good tach drive HEI for about $125.00 is available on E Bay. Works as good as the rest of them that costs 2-3 times more....Unless its important to have bragging rights at the local cruises.....or would it be better to have the savings in your pocket...

Put a RED MSD cap on it and lie.

I bought the Dragon Fire unit on Ebay and love it. I painted the orange cap satin black and it looks cool, too!

I also have the dragonFire, and also painted the cap black.
and think its the best deal out there for your money,
orginal 69 shielding will not work with the larger HEI .
