Suppose I have an Original Delco Freedom II Battery. Suppose it just needs a charge and then it can be used. What is it worth?

I don't think you can rehab a 30 year old battery. I suppose to the right buyer it might be worth a little. I doubt it is worth more than core value.

If it's a working battery, it would be worth some money [not a lot] to an owner with a nearly-original NCRS car. There are companies who rebuild new batteries with original cases. Your battery wouldn't be worth as much as one of those.

I think the whole deal with the Freedom battery is that it is sealed. Someting about shipping Vegas on trains 2 wide at an angle and needing a battery that wouldn't leak.
