Curious to go what would appear to me "BACKWARDS" from a 69 tri power car to a 68 solo carb ? wondering why ?
That car looked pretty hot, black too.........!!! WHY ?

Speaking of '68s, the very nice International Blue/blue '68 427 4 speed roadster out of NY at $28K under the pavilion may have been the C3 deal of the weekend in my book. I'd be shocked if it didn't sell.

I was standing next to you when you were explaining the car to someone, then got interested in the yellow 350 hp 69 roadster that was across from you under the tent, and it seemed like when I got back the car had "sold" on the windshield. Nice looking car!
That yellow '69 was asking $29.9 and sold very quickly as well. Nice the see the '69s selling strong.

Awesome car - I looked at it numerous times on Friday and was nearby when you guys had it running at one point. Didn't you buy that car there last year, if I recall correctly?

We saw the blue C3 with the skinny headlights, and determined that "Stock.......ish" was the most appropriate way to describe that one
We saw jr9170's car (and drooled a little), I had no idea it was a forum member's car or I would definitely have said hello! We later saw/heard it driving up and down the corral, and it DEFINITELY sounded like one major BEAST! If the buyer got that for $42K or less (sounds like it), I'm guessing there is one happy new owner out there tonight! I know I would be!
Sadly, we forgot the camera in the truck, so no pictures ;-(

I saw that one too. It looked to be riding a little high (could be something, could be an adjustment kind of a thing), but other than that, it did appear to be VERY reasonably priced. There was a woman there with the car who said hello, but quickly realized I was a "looker", as opposed to a buyer, and moved on to others in the area.

It passed me on the way home if it's the car I'm thinking about.

Sorry to hear that. I was going to go solo, but at the last minute, my daughter went with me. It dumped on us all through NJ, rained on us in Eastern PA, drizzled on us in central PA, but didn't rain on us at all while in Carlisle. Short day though, as the kid's attention span was limited, but she is still talking about it today, so I am sure she had a good time.

Once again, had a great time. The car ran great, especially on the way home yesterday leaving in the early morning cool air. T tops off with a sweatshirt on is perfect driving weather for me and the car. A little rain on Friday didn't spoil anything. I was glad that it kept hte temps down. I'll try to remember to upload some pics once I get home.
