Anyone know where I can get diagrams of the HVAC system? I have traced a leak to the system now I need to locate it.

Well, I really like the one from Dr. Rebuild. Too bad you can only get it in a hose kit.

Funny you ask this question now. I just went through my AIM and owners manual (it's a '69 vert) to figure out which hose went where. I made a few powerpoint slides that show what vacuum is operating with each selection on the A/C dial. I haven't had anyone else look at it yet and my '69 is in storage, so I can't confirm how correct it is.

This is the base slide I built to show hose and vacuum layout and does not refer to a specific switch position. I have 8 more slides that show each position.


If anyone sees anything wrong, please let me know. Also, if you want the powerpoint to show each selection, PM me.

btw, the orange hose on the right T's off the Green and should operate at the same time.

AIMs have a page or two showing the various color codings, system connections, etc.

Yeah, I looked in mine and that happens to be the pages that the print is so light you can't read any of the words.
