Were these pistons used in 70-71 Corvettes?
Hi Guys, I ran across an NOS set of GM TRW pistons for a 454 stamped "GM" "3963550", .....I guess they are out of a 70 Chevelle LS-6 but were they used on Corvettes?..........Thanks and stay safe, john

avalonjohn,
1970 LS-6 pistons had a dome height of .300 and a closed chamber configuration style, while the 1971 LS6 piston had a dome height of .095 and a open chambered style configuration. That accounts for the 11:25 to 1 compression on the 1970 versus the 9:0 to 1 on the 1971.
