Best Way to Store Glass T-Tops Inside Car?
My father and I purchased a 1980 Corvette and we are wondering what the best and safest method would be as far as storing the glass t-tops inside the car while driving.
We have a set of aftermarket t-top bags, which fit well, and we have also sourced an original strap for the t-top storage. Since the owner's manual is of little help, and glass t-tops are becoming harder and harder to find and therefore more expensive to replace, I'm wondering what others are doing as far as which t-top to place on the bottom, what side of the t-top to have facing up, etc. Pictures would be great, but any info at all is welcome. Thanks!

I have two sets of tops, the glass and the painted. If we are going on a ride where I think we may need to put the tops on then I take the painted tops. I never store the glass tops in the car on top of each other. They are too expensive to risk getting scratched up or worse.

In my opinion, I would not advise storing glass t roofs inside the car. I either leave my t roofs on the car or safely at home as this will save me time, effort and money in the future searching for a match/set of glass t roofs.
