Default New L-88 Hood, Vanacors

I just wanted to let you all know that I receiver my new L-88 hood this morning from Vanacor's. Had to pick it up at Fedex Freight. I am impressed, If the hood fits half as good as it looks, I will be very happy. The price is also very good until the end of the month.

I will get pics and post after hood is installed next week.
They are still located where they have always been in Lousiana.

Hi Phil,

A quick question for you how did you order your L-88 hood from Vanacor? Do they have a website or did you have to call them directly? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to look into the same purchase.

Thanks

Don

Thank you very much Phil, the link works great! For some reason when you look up Vanacor's on a web search it takes you to some oriental makeup website. Weird!

Did you get the regular or the high rise?

Phil, yes please provide some updates/pics once you get it bolted on.
Let me ask, is this the vendor that everyone praised for the hood being of higher quality than the ones you get at Ecklers? I remember reading something about some store/shop that caught fire and burnt down. Then everyone was forced to buy from Ecklers to get this hood. I have heard some good some bad about the Eckler hoods.
Ecklers advertises 4 1/8 inch rise over the stock hood. What is the rise for the Vanacor L88 Hood?

EDIT- Just went to their website and read up about them. IT helps to read..... ; - )

So Phil, let us know what specific hood you got. I see there are a couple of different part #'s.

Thanks,
