Default 81 Convertible

Someone while back asked me to post couple pics of my convertible conversion...and what a great morning today to drive it to work...was 65 degrees this morning! Car was redone and I also installed a TPI system. Car is white with bright red interior...not that 81 red crap, but 72 BRIGHT red! As fun as it is...Ive considered selling it and getting something else.

Pretty much..I had some help from friend of mine who owns a body shop. (this was before I started working for GM and managing dealership operations)....funny how that works.

wasnt very expensive at all...Ide think it could be done for less than 2000.00 but that doesnt include a hardtop or softtop...add that back in at whatever cost that should be

at 2000 that would be you doing it...lol

I would guess if you got someone else...(ie. bodyshop) you are going be spending around 5000-6000

that's still less than a good paint job....I googled it and just can find anyone that does it...

any bodyshop that works with fiberglass could do it....If you were closer Ide havone one of my bodyshops to do it for you.

Love it, very nice. I like them as bone stock looking as possible, thats what makes them look the best, becuase they never made one. Mine was black w/the bright red interior.

thanks...but i think its a nice car with them or without....

I felt the sidepipes gave it little old school feel and the TPI sounds good thru them
