Are you looking for a part number or do you have a part number and you're looking for a description?

If you're looking for a number -> description, reverse lookup, maybe a copy of the dealer parts manual if it's available on CD. Use your computer to search for the number... Might work with an AIM providing it's on CD..

Call your Chevrolet parts dealer; they can look up part numbers on their system.

Be nice. You'll be asking them to hunt for 40 year old part numbers. They might want the part name in addition to the number.

Both of my manuals are on paper. No way to search by part number.
Maybe someone has a copy on CD? The AIM would be my first try.
I recall when ordering parts there was a group number AND a part number.

Do you know what these parts are?

I googled them, followed by GM and came up with this:

BTW, this works more often than I ever thought it would. I use the part number in conjuction with GM, NOS, corvette, chevrolet, etc. until it returns something that I can work with.

NOS 1975 CORVETTE SEAT BELT BUCKLE END NEW GM products, buy NOS ...
BUCKLE AND GM PART NUMBER TAG CLOSE UP New in GM box NOS 1975 SEAT BELT buckle end. We ordered this from Chevy in the late '70s. GM part number 356881 Group ..

Struck out on the other one, but I only went to the first page of a few searches.

If you don't have a catalog you can find some part numbers here.
