No, the only C3 with a turbine-style wheel was the '82 Collector's Edition:

which would bolt right on to a '68.

From '68-'74, though, you could order the turbine-style PO2 wheel-cover:

Thanks Bob. The reason I asked is I just bought a 68 that I'm going to resto mod and it came with turbine wheels. I thought a restorer might be looking for wheels like that.

A restorer wouldn't, but many C3 owners like the period-correct look of the different style turbine rims.

I personally would love a set of the 8"-wide turbine rims with the tight fin-spacing from the Mako Shark show-car, that are like the '67 style but wider, to put on my '71, even if they're not stock:

Other people like the American Racing Vector finned rims for the mid-70's look:

Which are yours like?

If your '68 has the real 1982 turbine wheels and hub caps - keep them on there. Since it's a resto-mod they remain collectable and applicable.

I seem to recall that at one time, re-pops of the '63-'65 factory knock-offs, which look like a 'turbine' wheel, were available in an 8" width for C-3 cars....

Bob mine are like a set that is on E bay right now. The item is #350410229387. Mine aren't any where near that nice. Also they have faded red paint where the blue is.

I've seen those, and would *love* to add them to my '71:

Bob ,I just got the car and haven't got into tearing it apart yet. If your not in a hurry and don't mind cleaning them up a bit I'll sell you mine. If you give me an email address I'll send you a pic of them.

Thank you for the offer, but I'm looking for the style above, where the spokes are straight and thinner, closer together, and set into a bit of a dish on the rim. I know other people are into the style you have, however, so you might just trade straight-across to someone who has the original-style rims, or offer them up in the classifieds here.

The P01 option available for the '68s were not wheels -- they are 15" wheelcovers fitted over the standard rally wheel. A spoked basket with the Corvette crossed flags in the center ornament. The P01s are very similar (almost identical) to the P02s shown above in bobbarry's pic.

Do you have wheels or wheel covers?

The wheel covers have value.
