Question for you guys. I'm looking for a more comfortable seat in my 75. Here's a little back story. I'm 19 I'm just looking to make my vette a fun driver not a show car. Its nothing special but its something that I'm enjoying working on.

Now that that's said. Would these be worth the investment even with the Rip in the drivers seat? And would they be worth the 2 hour drive I have to go to get them

http://treasure.craigslist.org/pts/4732855199.html

Thanks for any help!

Having seats fixed is cheap. How tall are you? Using the stock runners for me didnt work. Im 6 foot. Those seats would be better for $250 or $300. Lol. Their torn! Your 19. Is it a money thing?

I appreciate the reply! I'm a part time worker going to college. Money definitely has its final say. That's why I was looking at these seats. I'm 5 11. If I have to I'm not afraid to modify within reason.

I ended up with c5 seats mounted on mounts I bought from Corbeau. The mounts are made from flat stock. I drilled and taped the c5 frames, but nuts and bolts would work too. I can't adjust the seats, but I'm the only driver. Doesnt matter. The c5 seats are a huge improvment. I installed mine about 4 years ago and bought just what you're looking at. I paid $400, but they were perfect with low butt miles. Easy upgrade and they fit perfectly.

I put a set of Fiero seats in my 78 with a kit from Mr. Mike's. Search craigslist for the seats. Condition doesn't matter as you can rebuild the foam. I am very pleased with my results.

Pick them up today for $235. Feel like I got a decent deal.
