Default Wind shield trim

Guy's

I have a set of 13 clips for the upper windshield trim, T molding. I can only place 10. Where do the other 3 go?

I asked this same question last month. Some say you need 10 and some say only 8. One thing is for sure there is not 13.

Count the tabs on the upper trim for the max amount.
You can get by with as few as 6.

Hey,
I've got 10 on my 74. 2 under each corner molding & 6 under the T chrome piece.
Maybe it's a generic set for all 68 to 1982 model years? It's the only place on the car where they are used.

Dembo's picture tells it all.

Look at the relief in the header T molding. Each relief represents a clip location. The make sure you have two on the end in front of the chrome header corner molding.

Willcox.
