One question I wonder about.....why when they were modeled after a Mako Shark were some years of the C3's called either Sting Rays or Stingrays? Not even close to a Mako shark.

aha...that explains it. Never thought of that...the nose is long and flared up for sure. when photographing it you have to be careful to keep it in perspective by shooting from a low perspective because of it.

You know what? I never put that together. I just thought StingRay was a cool-*** name for a car. I can completely see the "Shark" reference, but never thought about a Stingray swimming.

How could I have missed this???
