Wiper motor parts
Having a non working wiper system on my '68, I pulled out the motor and found the park solenoid switch to be defect. The wiper motor has been replaced on the car by a '73 wiper motor.
Are there any suppliers selling the park solenoid switch?
Regards Ole

What are you calling a park solenoid switch? Corvette Central carries the underhood switch; other vendors will also have it.

Mounts on the firewall in the bracket behind the plunger.
The switch must be closed with the plunger once the wiper door is open or the wiper motor will not start.

Mike,
I think he's talking about the actual motor park switch inside the motor.
4919647 fit all wiper motors 1968-1974 and was replaced by 22048273.
This was the last known number on this switch from GM and Delco.
It has been discontinued and is no longer available. There is no replacement or service part available. This park switch fit other motors, you may want to scavenger hunt on in a junk yard. I'm sorry, I will save the question too, but we won't sell them out of our cores here.. we need them.

Thanks for the answers. You're right it is the part inside the motor.
The issue is that the resistor is broken, resulting in a non functional wiper. Is it possible to replace the resistor, and if yes what is the specification for the resistor?

Yes the resistor can be replaced. You have to be careful when soldering it in not to melt the plastic. The resistor was also used on almost all wiper motors so scrounge you us a good used one..
You know what they say about pictures..
