Coil & coil bracket fit on a ZZ4

Default Coil & coil bracket fit on a ZZ4
Searched an nothing came up.

Now, I can't be the only one with this problem. You cannot put the coil on with the original bracket with the HEI distributor. At least I can't. When you go to line up the 2 bracket bolts, the coil hits the distributor. What am I missing.

I am not sure what bracket you are referring to. The coil on my ZZ4 is built into the distributer cap. Need a bit more info on the problem.

Duh, that's what I was missing. I was figuring to install the old coil but forget these new "modern" HEI units have them built in.

By the way IIRC the HEI distributor needs full voltage at the coil. You need to make sure you bypass the resistor wire.
