Default Looking for a part under the Front End Fiberglass

Cant find a part number for a bonded reinforcement frame just under the top fiberglass down by the hood but not part of the hood. Its under and above the light openings.
The headlight actuators and horn attach to it. I need this part.
Oh man - Its a 1974!!

You didn't say what year. Sounds like you are looking for a headlight support. It bonds to the underside of the front end between the headlights and the front of the hood opening. There is a bracket at each end that is also normally rusted.

It's usually referred to as the front wide beam or the front header bar reinforcement. 68-82 all use the same part. Till about 1972 or 73, they were riveted to the surround panel. The small bumps that are often seen on the nose of chrome bumper cars, is the rivets corroding and pushing up through the nose. Later years had the reinforcement bonded in, eliminating this problem.

They're not available from GM, but all of the Corvette vendors offer them. They list for about $80-100.

Corvette Central lists them. The other folks will also have them.
