Aftermarket Spark Plug Wire Recommendation - Headers and HEI
I want something simple, I do not want to make up wires.
Anyone have some part numbers to throw my way on some black or grey plug wires that will work for a small block with headers and HEI. Not looking for a factory replacement, just something clean that will fit right, look decent.
I have crazy finger type 11mm Moroso wires on my Camaro, but want something mor subtle for the Corvette.
Accel 8mm plug wires will be fine.
Let me know, thanks!

I have live wires from Davis Unified Ignition, with a D.U.I. distributor. They are beefy and custom made for your engine and set up, either under the headers or over the valve covers. Mine are red, but they make them in black, not sure about grey. They are pricey, but I am real happy with them. Good luck

I burned out a couple sets of "standard" spark plug wires a season when I had stainless steel block hugger headers, even with fiberglass heat jackets. The spark plug boots were just too close to the header tubes. The boots cracked and the spark jumped to the headers.
THEN I switched to Accel Extreme 9000 spark plug wires with ceramic boots. I also switched to ceramic coated full length headers. I used the same set of ceramic boot wires for 4 seasons now with no problems. I kept the fiberglass jackets to protect the wires, but the ceramic boots are exposed and show no signs of heat damage whatsoever. Sure, they cost $120, but they still cost less than several standard sets/year.
