Wanted Info on Greenwood 1976
In 1976 a wide body Greenwood Style C3 Corvette was on the Cover of Corvette Corner magazine September 1976, at the NCCC National Convention, owned by T. W. Lunsford of Knoxville,TN. in a patriotic red, white, blue race prepared with an American flag numbered #76. In 1978 the car appeared again at the Corvette Expo in Knoxville Tn. this time with the #25 owned by Jerry Shockley and appeared in the May issue of Vette Vues May 1978 issue. Does any one no where this car is, or any of the previous owners as I would like to find this Corvette. It looks like the car John Greenwood raced at the 1974 Road Atlanta IMSA event.
I am also looking for any of the 1976 Greenwood Corvette Sebring GT as a project or restored

Hi,
Was this car perhaps at Carlisle as part of Chip's Choice in the not too distant past? I seem to remember seeing it.
Regards,
Alan

That Corvette is the Spirit of Lemans currently owned by the Goldin Brothers who also have the Spirit of Sebring as well. The Corvette I am looking for has the factory L-88 headlights and covers and not the Lemans GT covers, has an American Flag on the hood that spreads red stripes (2) to the side flares which are the IMSA DAytona flares and not L-88 flares. There is no number on the front of the car, only on the doors and the back end is blue

Thanks, the Corvette at the Carlise Corvette, was at the 2004 and had L-88 flares, was one of the #76 cars, the second #76 was the Spirit of Lemans which has been owned by the Goldin Brothers from Miami for many years.

Hey Larry-
Try getting a hold of Lance Smith in San Diego. At one time or another, I think he's owned every racer the Greenwood's ever built. You can find him here: https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/216393486322/
