Default 68/69 original sidepipes

Is there any reason I can't install sb 68/69 original sidepipes on my sb 70, or can I? Thanks

Hi 70d,
I'll bet you get the same replies as you did on your post on the tech forum!
Regards,
Alan

PS: (No).... I'm mistaken.... you phrased it here so that you get a NO, and there so you get a YES!

It can't be done because side pipes were not available from the factory for '68 Corvettes

Hi,
Am I a **** because I belong to NCRS and like 69 style side-exhaust even on cars other than 69s?
There's not going to be any sort of trial is there? Will I have to disappear and move to Argentina?
Regards,
Alan

Default problems

Guys, don't fight, just trying to get some questions answered. Wanted to do some modifications to make this to my own licking. My 63 is all original ,but I just wanted to "soup up"my 70 for my daily driver and a eye catcher. Thank you for all the answers. (That's quite the car Jughead/I"ll bet thats a rocket) Mike

Therefore, there was no fight.

Have fun with your side pipes. Alan will be your #1 fan forever.

Just don't be "licking" your sidepipes. You'll burn your tongue!

Hid,
Not a fighter... just an NCRS guy that likes side-exhaust!
Regards,
Alan

These are chrome covers that I painted black after the chrome plating rusted.

first time I've ever seen them done in black.... I LIKE THEM!!

I LOVE sidepeipes on C2-C3 cars. screw whether or not they came that way from the factory, I think all C2/C3 cars should be sidepipe cars.

Actually, changed my mind. I'm wrong. If they were all that way than mine wouldn't stand out well enough!

Hey man they look awesome , very well done !!! The first car I ever saw with them on was back in 1977 , they were on my friends 73 Stingray , a red convertible and they looked killer. They give the c3's a whole new personality , I love em.

Side pipes rock! Makes my '69 look sexy, sound great and sparkle like gem! Is that wrong?
