Default Trick to Replacing Horn Cover?

I must be missing something here.

Is there a trick to refitting the horn cover/emblem on the steering wheel?

Because I can't get this

Any words of wisdom?

It's just a press fit. You should be able to simply line it up and give it a good smack!

The fingers on the car part spring out around the ring on the button (or was it the other way? whatever)
Check and make sure the "fingers" are nice and straight, if one or more are bent in too far they (or was it out?) instead of going on it will just go under and the more / harder you push the worse it will get.
It should just "pop" on with a good push or light thump

(Disconnect the battery )
