Default Removing Nose Bar 'bumper support"

I am trying to remove my nose bar, the metal v shaped bracket that rivets to the nose of the car that holds the front bumper in place on my '80. It's riveted in and I removed those but it is also bonded in with a green colored adhesive. Half of the bar is loose, the other half is still bonded and I am afraid to pry it off for fear of cracking the fiberglass.

Any tricks to remove this from the bonding adhesive and then how to get the bonding adhesive off the clip? I thought about a heat gun but....

Thanks!

The green is factory adhesive. Can you rebond the bar with it in place?

Use a heat gun, not too close and with a chisel start gently to separate them, everytime heat short section.

Yepper, and be REALLY, REALLY patient... Think 5 times slower then what you "may" think slow is... When it is ready, it will almost just fall out... Patience is key, which I don't have much of...

Thanks guys, I will try the heat method and be as patient as possible. If this frame off has taught me anything it's patience. EVERYTHING takes longer (and costs more) than it should. So what is the correct adhesive to re-bond the bar to the car?

Thanks!!
