Hey guys,

I'm trying to put back the fan shroud on the radiator. Problem is, I can't put the damn thing back in place!!! Please look at the picture:

Is the end of the shroud supposed to go behind that lip on the radiator or in front of it? I am assuming it's behind since it will give it better support, but I can't seem to get it to stay. I can kinda get the right side to go in if I go under the car, but the left side won't go in to save my life!

Not sure on the year but on my 80 it goes behind and I seem to remember 2 clips . to hold it in .

There are two clips that connect to the radiator to hold it in, but that goes on after I fit it in the radiator.

I'm not sure what to do! If I only put one side in I'm worried it might come lose and hit the fan while I'm driving.

Not quite sure on yours, but I've always found it easier install if you take the fan off first. It's possible to wrestle the shroud off with the fan on, but you can't wrestle it back on easily.
