Really nic e looking '69. What did you pay for gas per gallon while on this excellent ride?
Thanks.

Absolutely beautiful pictures, and an amazing looking 69! A lifelong dream of mine is to take a classic car on a cross country trip over about a month's time. I think you might have found some of the most amazing scenery in Europe!

Amazing photographs! You have a great eye for composition! That Vette really looks right at home there.

Fantastic trip Thanks for sharing the pics and video. What roads and scenery!! I remember the Top Gear episode when they drove that road. That big block looks and sounds great. We just did a send-off party at my house for "Jackfit" from the C1/C2 forum. He is embarking on a European Tour in his 66 Vette. We did a send off 2 years ago for his US Tour. Maybe you will see him over there.

Amazing. Beautiful car, beautiful road, beautiful country. I'm jealous.

I would love to take one of my z06's for a European roadtrip.

Actually, I'd love to just be able to go to Europe.

Very cool.

There's a footnote in the Good Book. It reads "God made the Alps, carved out the roads to drive on then turned to Adam and said 'Build me a car that's custom made to drive these mountains and others like them.'" Hence the Corvette was born.

Thank you all for your compliments!
I will try to upload some more videos soon.
Here is another one from the Stelvio:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ELRcPoqaSw

But now i have a serious issue, at the last day of the trip
i broke a torsion spring of the clutch (what i found out today).
Sometimes it makes scratching noise while shifting and so on

What clutch would you recomend as spare part? I would like to buy it at summit or rockauto. I have the stock M21 tranny, but want to replace it with a TKO 500 or sth similar. Do the use the same clutch?
Otherwise i would try to just replace the broken spring and drive it for 4 months. The clutch itself is in good condition.

Edit: its a 454 LS5 in the car.

Thanks in advance.
