1978 Limited Edition vette barn find on sale!
I remember someone posting about the 78' that was found with 15miles on the odo and covered in 33yrs of dust. Well, that car is now up for sale. It would be cool if someone from here could win it.
Heres the ebay link:

I hope this isnt a repost.

I think we are looking at two different cars. The barn find had 13 miles on it and never registered. The e-bay car has just over 35xx miles on it. I thought I read the barn find was sold overseas...........but I could be wrong on that. Also the ebay car he says he can prove miles and registration.

Melting Slicks
They are different cars. The 13 mile one did go overseas and the talk around the dealership the day it got it's first wash was $55,000.00.

Safety Car
The "original" Pace Car barn find sporting 13 miles was VIN 5795. Bud's Chevrolet bought it from the original owner and Bud's sold it to Corvette Mike who than sold it to some shiek overseas for a purported $50k.
VIN 92 above is a different car but Corvette Mike was "leveraging" his earlier find and sale.

Except for the tires, I wonder if it had the Eagle GT's on it when they found it. It looks like an L82 motor judging by the badge. They should have put it on a lift and took pictures. Also an engine shot would have been nice instead of all the interior shots. If they are trying to pull 25K out of this, all that visual information certainly would be expected by any prospective buyer.
