Default Question- Chrome BB 454 valve covers w drippers

BB chrome valve covers with drippers in great condition. The weird ripple on the left side of the cover in the first pic is just a reflection.

I do have a question however. They both have this stamp on them. What is it an indication of?

Thanks

I have never seen the mark before. FYI those are both right side covers.

Ok, thanks for the reply's guys. The quality of the chrome is really nice and they're heavier than my stock ones. Triple chrome'd I wonder? Any idea of value?

Im cleaning out my garage and want a bunch of stuff gone.

I agree. Looks like much nicer chrome than the originals had.

Yes, they are both the same side cover. I can't figure out the year. They have the push in oil plug so we know 70 and later.
Not 72 because there are no looms for the wires or clips.
Not 71 because no looms for the clips.
Maybe 70, but I thought 70 had at least a few clips on the top edge to hold the fast idle wire.

The chrome indicates after market, but nobody is plating like that on re-pops that I know of.

Nice covers though.

I am looking for a set of 72's if any body knows of any (originals).
