Did you ever flip up your head lights as kids are walking by?

I need to do some work on my 71 this winter. I'd like to say that mine winks with one light but it is more like Egor with one remaining opened and one closing slowly.
For the one that stays open, it takes me having to go out to the light and lift up on it just a smidgen (measurable term). It clicks and then closes like normal. Probably just a minor adjustment or something.

Most of the kids around here wouldn't look up from their phones long enough to notice the lights moved

Those kids would be teenagers by the time mine came up...

Funny you mentioned it. Just this evening I was cruising on the main 4 lane in our town when I came past a car loaded down with kids ages approx. 10-teenage. Their faces were plastered to the side windows like they'd never seen an old Vette before so I turned on the head lights. They all started pointing and their eyes got even bigger.

I guess you guys think you're pretty cool because a buncha 10 year old kids think your flip-up headlights are cool.
Oh, OK, fine, I do it too.........

My 928 headlights roll forward. I get a lot of questions on how they could possible light the road. It's one of the few cars where they look just as good up or down due to the color matched aerodynamic casing when on.
Now this really blew people's minds. This is a 1986 150cc Honda scooter I used to own. The lid pops up and then the square halogen light (which is laid back like the 928) moves up and forward. It's the epitome of 80s pointless excess...even the dash with its digital and analog gauges put most cars to shame. Sold it a few years back and still regret it. 70 mph down the highway on 10" wheels was as much fun as 170 on my Hayabusa.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I drove by a group of young kids yesterday in my bright red 61 Corvette and not one of them even looked at it They were all staring at their text messages or sexting photos

Greetings from Long Branch NJ,Americas first seashore resort and 7 time US summer capital....before tipping the lights to the kids with my 68 Vette I remember lowering the lights on the family 66 Buick Riviera once in a while when pulling up behind a car with kids looking out the back window....just last week one of the guys who has two 'baby Corvette' Opel GT's flipped his headlights a couple of times for my 4 year old niece.
