Kudos! to Mid America Corvette...
Ordered some parts yesterday & today my Sexy Wife got a phone call about a price discrepancy. I called them back & got it straightened out a few minutes ago. No Problems! Nice, friendly Service Rep- Will definitely do business with them again - Just thought I'd pass it on....

I have had many dealings with them-they were great everytime. Its nice dealing with people who know the product and stand behind what they sell.
I worked for a Police department in NY and we restored a 78 Vette for the DARE program they were nothing short of fantastic.

Thanks
Thanks for the kind words. I ran the DARE program for 4 years till I retired- I hated to leave it. The car is a 78 Vette 350 4 speed car that was an impound.
A local body shop did the car from top to bottom, with a local sign company lettering it, both donating time and materials.
Believe it or not the local Ford dealer (yes Ford) had their mechanics work on it during slow times in the shop- the entire drive train from clutch to rear was rebuilt, everything, springs, brakes, everything was redone. Everyone donated their time. The only cost was for parts. Mid America was very supportive of the DARE program and gave us a great prices on the parts.
Myself and another officer did the interior, we sent the seats to Mid America and replaced the carpet-and a few interior parts, the rest was in good shape.
I took the car to the schools, car shows, cruise nights. it was a big hit with the kids and parents as well .
I will try and post some pictures of the car, it came out great and it was made into a matchbox car. Thanks ben

I'm hoping to have the '73 at least road-worthy by then - I know it won't be pretty but, I'm gonna try & make the Funfest a short-term goal. Either way, we should definitely be there. Effingham is not too far from the Southside!
