Default The Earliest C3 Restoration Complete

I purchased this car a few years ago, and took a while to decide on what direction I wanted to take with the car. This car is 1968 Vin #2 I hope you enjoy what I have done with the car. This car is restored to NCRS specifications, and will be on the judging field this year.

Really? Number 2? I had to re-read your thread about 5 time to make sure I was reading it correctly. That is cool. I thought I had a low vin number.
Let us know how the judging turned out.
That color both exterior and interior is awsome?

Beautiful '68! Love the color, inside and out.

I believe that last gill should be blacked out. Again beautiful. Is this the oldest known C3?

You would be correct for most 68s. One this early could be a puzzler. Mufflers possibly blacked out also, but the OP has time to work through the Judging Guide now that the big work is completed.

Hi g,
That looks like a beautiful piece of work.
The attention to detail is really stunning!
Good Luck when you present it for judging.
Regards,
Alan

Beautiful car! Congrats!

Question though, I have a 68 as well. I thought the 327/350 L79 motor had a chrome oil fill cap, to match the valve covers. Is this something that changed mid-way through the year? (Mine is a late 68)

Wow! The second C3 off the line. I'm sure a lot of us are interested in this.
What did it look like when you got it?
How many miles?
How many owners?
How were you lucky enough to get it?
Does anybody know what happened to number 1?
