Default new C3 specific gauges from Dakota Digital

Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet but thought I'd post it anyways.

It's probably not something I'm interested in as the faces don't match up close enough and they block off the Seat Belt light/switch and the Door Ajar and Headlamp lights with block off plates. Also, you'd need to do some work to get the light switch modified to their module.

Still, it's great to see some options, hopefully lots of other C3 owners see value in it and they expand the line up.

They look ok at at night/lit but the unlit I'm not feeling them at all. That said looks are subjective.

I bought the set from the for sale section. Will take some pictures as I go. Looks pretty straight forward.

Started the install yesterday. Hope to wrap up today. Did have to do some cutting on the speedo and tach area to get those to fit and there is a gap behind the gauges.

I really like their VHX gauges, but at $1500, I don't know if I could stomache that... Oh well, maybe some day...

Think I would like them better with larger numbers - maybe a little closer to the stock font size and type.

Will be interesting to see how they turn out.

Got most of the gauges working except the speedo, odometer and the gear selector.

A while back i was in South Dakota at custom image corvettes and josh was loaning them (DD) the mistress (82 corvette) so they could prototype gauges for later c3s. The last time I was there he had the car back and a set of the gauges that fit those cars so I bet they have them for sale by now.
I considered them for my LS swap but I already had gauges. Just replacing all of the stock to autometers was not cheap either.

Finished with the gauges tonight. Got the speedo calibrated and the gear indicator working. Nice to have all the working and get accurate readings. Now time to mess with the other setting options the gauge set offers.
