Default 69 rear window weatherstrip

Installing a new weatherstrip around the rear window on my 69 coupe. Someone had done it before and really messed it up. They had cut most of it off after it had been glued in wrong. I have a new weatherstrip and it appears that it will be difficult to get it to stay in place while to glue is drying.

Has anyone accomplished this and did the window fit properly after installation?

Thanks

'69 rear glass is a lot different from '74 glass. The '69 us removable. I did my '70 a few years ago. Cleaned everything up real well, dry fit the weatherstrip and marked it along the way so I knew everything would line up the same. I then started gluing it all together a short stretch at a time using tape to hold it all in place.

There are a couple of screws on each side to help hold it up. Use tape to hold the weatherstrip up. Glue a litle bit at a time and tape it in place. Test fit it dry, first. Lou.
