Default Convertible with factory A/C?

I just slipped over here from the C6 section with a question. Back when the C3's were being built, was it possible to order a convertible with factory installed A/C?

A/C was available in any '68-'75 convertible EXCEPT '68/'69 L-88s and '70-'72 ZR-1 & ZR-2s. Also not available in '70 & '71 LT-1 cars. May have been a very few other exceptions. Also not in LS-6 cars in '71?

With the top up on a 95 degree day, I have to turn my ac down to low so I dont get frozen out of the car. Still have a good sealed system and using R-12.

Yes. My fiancee's 71 convertible has factory air. Factory AC was not limited to body style.

My '73 L82 convertible has A/C. It was a So Cal. car so A/C is pretty much needed out there. Mine is also still running r12

Mine does ... sort of. On a 90*F day last summer with the top up it managed to get the interior temp down to 60*F. Nowhere near the 40*F that apparently is what I should expect according to the GM service manual.
