The metal frame around my 68 rear window is coming apart. It looks like the frame is held together with dowel pins installed on an angle. I'm thinking about taking the glass out of the frame. Is there a gasket that goes around the window so the glass and metal frame don't touch? I'm thinking about screwing the frame back together. Anybody have any experience with this?
