Does anyone have a picture of a red LT-1 hood with a black stripe? The factory put white stripes on red cars and I'm thinking I want something different. How about other paint stripe options on that hood. I had to buy a new LT-1 hood to clear my engine.

Depending on the shade of red, black LT-1 stripes might work. Red IS a dark color; but as it goes toward orange, it appears lighter. If you already have the car painted, lay some black tape stripe material on it. Or, get a sample board painted that color and stick some tape stripes to it. The black stripes will not show well with a dark shade of red, IMO.

I have a ton of pictures like that. Mine was red with the black strip on the hood. I really think it was sharp looking. I have silence gone to a L88 hood but kept the black striping on the hood. I'm on the wrong computer so I don't have them but you may be able to search some of my older posts and see them. I will post them up when I get to the right computer.
